Product demo

See exactly what a hire looks like on KeyProof.

Watch the sixty-second walkthrough, then run the hirer check-in yourself as a safe simulation. Same screens, the same kind of link your hirer gets, on a made-up booking.

Nothing here is real: no checks run, no card is charged, nothing you enter is saved.

Narrated, with captions. Sound on.

No hire firm has signed KeyProof yet. That is why this page hands you the product to poke at instead of a customer list.

Now do the hirer check-in on your own phone.

You have watched it run. This opens the same kind of link your hirer gets, showing the same screens, on a made-up booking. It is the real check-in, not a video and not a mock-up.

How it arrives

Yeah, quick check-in first, do it before you get here:

KeyProof · Secure check-inkeyproof.co.uk
keyproof.co.uk/r/demo

A real link looks like that, dropped into the Instagram or WhatsApp chat you already have with the hirer. Tap the button and it opens the same way theirs does: as a link, not a page of this site.

Every check, one timestamped record ready for your insurer.

Everything the hirer does folds into a single sealed file: who took the car, that they could drive it, what they agreed, and its condition at both ends.

Photo ID and live selfie

The hirer scans photo ID and takes a live-camera selfie. Stripe Identity checks the document is genuine and matches the face to it. The documents are never stored on your side: you see a verified result, not a folder of passports.

DVLA licence check

The hirer generates a one-time code on the government’s free Share Driving Licence service and it reaches you with the booking. You read the real record on the DVLA’s own page: status, categories, points, disqualifications. Not a photo of a licence, and not our word for it.

Signed agreement, initialled clause by clause

Your agreement, read and e-signed on their phone, then snapshotted and hashed so what they agreed to cannot quietly change. Before they can sign, the hirer initials the mileage cap, the no-track clause, the territory and the excess one by one.

Nine named shots, at handover and return

Not a freeform gallery. Every hire runs a named set: front, rear, both sides, both alloys, interior, dashboard and odometer, roof. The car cannot be marked out until the set is complete, and the same nine run again at return.

One insurer-ready record

Verified identity, checked licence, signed agreement and before-and-after photos in a single timestamped pack, tied to the exact hire and exported as a printable incident file when a claim needs it. A fine weeks later meets a documented chain, not a WhatsApp thread and a memory.

You choose what KeyProof collects.
The money stays yours.

Per booking, decide whether KeyProof takes the deposit and the hire fee or you take them yourself. When it collects, it runs on your own Stripe account and settles to your own bank. KeyProof never holds the money.

Deposit as a refundable hold

A hold on the hirer’s card, like a hotel. Nothing is taken on a clean return; on damage it is already held against the booking.

Hire fee, or not

Take the charge on the same link, or leave it off and collect it your own way. Either choice is recorded against the booking so the balance is always clear.

On your own Stripe, or not at all

KeyProof captures the proof; it is not a payment processor and never sits between you and your money. Switch collection off and it still records the amounts, so the evidence chain is identical either way.

The hirer sees one link. You get the whole operation.

Every check-in feeds a dashboard built to run a hire firm. See the app itself on the product page, shown screen by screen on a made-up firm.

One dashboard behind every link

The day’s queue, a clash-guarded calendar, the fleet with its MOT, insurance and service, the money and profit per car, fines packaged for liability, and every sealed record in one place.

You decide what counts as damage

KeyProof holds the evidence and never judges it. The before and the after sit side by side; the call is yours, every time.

Every hire gets the full treatment

The named nine-shot capture, the initialled hire terms and the deposit on the record, with no lesser version to fall to. The price is set by how many cars you run, not what they are worth.

What KeyProof does not do

It captures the proof and does the paperwork. It never gives legal, VAT or accounting advice: that stays with you and your advisers.

A crash-and-run with no evidence
is the expensive outcome.

You have just walked what your hirer walks. The founding cohort locks the price for life, at any fleet size.
