One platform around the hire record.

Bookings, the hirer's checks, the fleet, the money and the evidence, each attached to the hire it belongs to.

Real product, sample data. BK-1043 throughout.

Everything hangs off the booking.

Nothing has to be matched up later.

  1. 01

    Booking

The car, the dates and the hirer, entered once.

  2. 02

    Hirer

Their own link: no app, no account.

  3. 03

    Verification

The licence share code for your firm to check, and photo ID matched to a selfie on every link.

  4. 04

    Agreement

Your own terms, signed on their phone.

  5. 05

    Money

The deposit, the hire price and what is still owed.

Six guided photos out and back.

Today, and the bookings behind it.

What needs you now, and every step of each hire.

A double booking, flagged before it happens.
Today
Most urgent first: a car still out after its end date, today's collections and returns, and hirers who have not finished their steps.
Bookings
A warning when a car is already booked over the same dates, drafts that send nothing, and search and CSV export across every hire.
Next action
Each hire shows one next step, from checking the licence through to releasing the deposit and closing the record.

The hirer's link.

The hirer does their part on their own phone before they arrive: a DVLA share code for your firm to check on GOV.UK, your agreement to sign and photo ID matched to a selfie through Stripe. No app and no account.

After collection the same link becomes their hire pass, through to return.

Fleet and money, on the same hire.

The paperwork stays with the car, and the money stays with the booking.

Vehicles
MOT expiry and past mileage from the DVSA record, your own tax, insurance and service dates, a service log, and private storage for the V5C and certificates.
Condition
Six named photos at handover and again at return, each timestamped. You make the handover decision.
Payments
Take payment your own way, or through your own connected Stripe account, settling to your bank. KeyProof records what was taken, owed and settled.
Your money stays yours
KeyProof never holds your money or takes a cut of your hires.
For your accountant
A CSV of every recorded payment and expense, with the VAT column left for your accountant.
Fines and claims
A penalty notice is matched to the hire that covers the offence date, with the signed agreement beside it. You decide what happens next.

The hire ends. The record stays.

Every record names what is on file, what is missing and what is not yet due, so a thin record cannot pass as a complete one.

Illustrative record. Not a real hirer.
  • Changes are detectable. The agreement at signing, the hire particulars and each condition photo are fingerprinted with SHA‑256. Tamper-evident, never tamper-proof.
  • Share one hire, on your terms. A read-only insurer link expires after 30 days, with the share code and hirer contact details withheld. You can revoke it at any time.
  • The decision stays yours. KeyProof never scores damage or decides whether a charge is justified. Where it stops
  • Records have a set life. Data follows its retention schedule, and an open dispute, claim or unpaid fine holds the record it needs.

Private beta applications openPublic launch January 2027

See it on your own fleet.

KeyProof is selecting UK car hire operators for its private beta, ahead of public launch in January 2027. A founder sets up your cars and your agreement, then walks your first hire through with you. No hire firm has signed yet, so every screen on this page shows sample data.
