Contactless handover

The 6am airport drop without the 6am alarm.

Renters want the car outside their flat, at the station, or from a key safe at midnight. Saying yes used to mean skipping the checks. Contactless handover means the verification travels to the renter's phone, so the checks happen wherever the car is, with or without you standing next to it.

How a contactless hire runs

Verified before arrival. Documented at the kerb.

Everything serious happens before the collection

ID matched to a live selfie, a live DVLA licence check, your agreement e-signed and the deposit recorded, all from the renter's own phone, hours or days before they get near the car.

At the car, the renter documents the condition

The handover link has them photograph the car as they collect it, timestamped. A key-safe collection stops being a leap of faith: the condition at the moment the keys moved is on record even though you were asleep.

The face check still happens

For in-person handovers you confirm the collector against the verified selfie. For fully remote ones, the liveness check already tied the booking to a real, present person, not a photo of someone else's ID.

Return works the same way in reverse

The car comes back to the kerb or the key safe, you photograph it on your own schedule, and the before-and-after record closes the hire with the evidence complete.

Contactless without the platform

No app for the renter. No new system for you.

Contactless does not require an app the renter will never install or a booking platform you do not want. The whole flow runs from links you drop into the Instagram or WhatsApp chat where the booking already lives. KeyProof is pre-launch and being built with a founding cohort of UK hire firms: walk the full flow in the demo, or see plain per-car pricing.

Hand over anywhere.
Verify everywhere.

Founding spots are open to a handful of UK hire firms: locked pricing for life, and a direct hand in shaping the product.
