Swap the car on a live booking
Change the vehicle on a booking that is already made, without losing the renter check-in or the record.
Sometimes the car changes after the booking is made: the booked car is still out, goes in for a service, or the renter is moved to a different vehicle. You can swap the car on a live booking without starting again.
How to swap the car
- Open the booking.
- Choose to change the vehicle, and pick the new car from your saved fleet.
- Confirm. The booking now shows the new car, and the change is written to the booking's timeline so there is a record of what was swapped and when.
The renter's check-in, their verified details, and everything already captured stay with the booking. You are changing which car the hire is against, not resetting the hire.
