Weekly billing for long hires
Bill a long-term hire by the week, with a running amount due and a reminder when a week is up.
A long hire does not have to be one lump at the end. You can bill it by the week, so the money comes in as the hire runs rather than piling up.
Billing a hire weekly
On a long-term booking, set the billing to weekly and the amount to collect each week. KeyProof then tracks how much is due as the hire runs, working from the weekly amount and how long the car has been out.
Staying on top of it
When a week is up and an amount is due, it surfaces on your Today screen and in your morning brief, so you collect each week's payment on time. You still take the money your own way and log it against the booking, the same as any other payment. See Payments, invoices and the money tab.
Weekly billing is for genuinely long hires. For a normal short hire, set the price on the booking and take it as usual.
